As we recently announced at the Microsoft conference, the company plans to support virtual reality for all Windows 10 computers that are compatible as part of the next major update known as Creators Update, which will arrive in the first half Of the year 2017.

While the HTC Live and the Oculus Rift use their own software specifically developed for them, Redmond's are trying to create their own VR platform that allows others to join it. Basically it would be the same environment that is currently being used in HoloLens.

Another of the most interesting novelties in relation to these virtual reality helmets is its price, which will start from $ 299. It is not very common, considering that the prices of the models of other companies mentioned above are around 700 euros and 900 euros, depending on what they include.

Now Microsoft has revealed what it will take to use its new affordable virtual reality glasses. The requirements are also not very high if we compare what other platforms ask us, as we can see below:

4-core processor, or a dual-core processor with HyperThreading
A graphics card with support for DirectX 12
4 GB of RAM
One USB 3.0 port
The price of the product should already make us understand that with this move, Microsoft does not want to simply present other glasses of virtual reality that can only access a small percentage of users with very powerful equipment and economic ease to spend almost 1,000 euros on them .

Instead, they seem to be trying to bring virtual reality to all users, as many as possible, although of course, we still have to see what kind of content we will find. The next December will give more information about the new Windows 10 VR in an event, something that we will be very attentive.
