Depending on your web browsing habits, users Chrome, Firefox and Safari could get much more alert messages, suggesting avoiding certain websites with malware detected as compromised or presenting other security risks.

Implemented by Google as a way to prevent infections by malware, Safe Browsing service is about to receive an infusion of new technologies, expanding the capabilities of detecting multiple types of threats. Inevitably, users will get several alerts cautioning about accessing websites that host malware, attacks and other threats, such as ad type injector applications.

Become more widespread, ad injector programs aimed at inserting additional ads in web pages, sometimes replacing existing ones. Often, ads placed surreptitiously in the structure of legitimate websites are used to spread other forms of malware. Acting at the source of the problem, the filter will stop Safe Browsing and access to websites that offer ad injector component installation.
