Meta announced its latest Threads app to take on Twitter as a leading microblogging platform. The app features a plethora of similarities compared to Elon Musk's sinking ship but the latter is still quite prevalent in terms of userbase and expanded feature set. Seemingly, Meta has released the first major update for the Threads app, offering various features that users have been asking for.

The latest Threads app update offers a new Follow tab on the activity feed that allows users to see who follows them. This gives users easy access to followers and if they should follow them back. The update also comes with improvements on the feed load times, and the ability to subscribe to unfollowed users. Another major addition is translation and you can check out the rest of the additions below.

The information was shared by Instagran's software engineer Cameron Roth on Threads. There is also a boatload of other additions that you should check out. If you are interested, you can update the Threads app right now from the App Store or the Play Store if it is not automatically updated. Furthermore, since the Threads app is growing rapidly, you might have to wait a while before the update is available.
