As such, when Shalini Santhosh Kumar shared the recipe for moringa thovayal or thogayal, we wanted to understand more about its benefits. “Morninga thovayal is a must-try. You can have it with hot rice, paratha, dosa, idli. It’s a quick recipe that you can prepare in 15 minutes,” shared Kumar on Instagram.*Make sure to clean the moringa leaves well *Add groundnut oil to an iron kadai and start adding urad dal, chana dal, red chilli, and curry leaves. Let it splutter. *Now add garlic, shallots, and grated coconut to it and sauté until golden brown. *Finally add tamarind and salt to it. *Once it is cooled down, grind it in traditional mortar. “It gives extra flavour,” shared Kumar. *Serve it with hot rice and ghee.
