The Lexus LBX is the most recent model from the Japanese brand. It is also your entry point to the range, the smallest and, therefore, the cheapest copy. It has maintained that brand philosophy with a hybrid propulsion system as the only option and a very marked design. Now they wanted to give it a special edition called Lexus LBX Match Point. As it could not be otherwise, it has its inspiration from the world of tennis, with which the manufacturer has had a close relationship for years.

Lexus is a sponsor of some competitions and this LBX Match Point has been created for the Conde de Godo Trophy 2024. What it wants is to attract racket lovers with a series of specific details related to tennis. In fact, it has some accents on its body that are in the characteristic yellow color of tennis balls. It appears on the front under the logo, on the mirrors, the roof antenna or the rear diffuser. It contrasts with the metallic Berlin Gray background color, which is the only option.

Also worth highlighting in this Lexus LBX Match Point is the decorative pattern that it receives on the C-pillar or the 18-inch wheels that are also exclusive, with a matte black finish and details such as the model name in yellow. Inside, the specific configuration continues with leather seats upholstered in Caramel color that contrast with some black leather panels and yellow stitching. The mats bear the Match Point logo and the start button is shaped like a ball with the inscription "Play".

What does not change one bit is the only propulsion system available. This is the hybrid that combines the 1.5-liter three-cylinder block with an electric block and a small nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery to achieve 136 HP and the ECO label from the DGT. Only 25 units will be made of the Lexus LBX Match Point, making it a very exclusive example. Hence it has a high price of 45,700 euros, within the reach of few pockets. The first units will arrive in October.
