Noticias ALEJANDRO Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 The device you see here is called Oruga Unitrack and is being developed by a Latvia company, the Baltic country located between Lithuania and Estonia. In the world of off-road, he has sometimes been thrown out of imagination to design some vehicles capable of overcoming the most steep lands and with the unithrack caterpillar the high bar has been left in terms of originality. Those responsible for the project say that we are facing "the first off -road electric vehicle of a road designed to be versatile, resistant and robust, capable of facing different lands along the different stations of the year." Are we facing a motorcycle? Well, we leave the answer to your opinion. What is true is that the vehicle you see here moves thanks to two motor wheels with a third motor wheel located almost at the height of the lighthouse to help overcome the greatest obstacles. It is not the first time that a vehicle of this type is designed, but the Oruga Unitrack project goes a little further as it is an electric motorcycle that also leans in turns. In the Intellectual Property Office of the European Union, the design of the UNITRACK ORUGA that is still in the development phase has already been recorded. Despite having a handlebar, the Unitrack caterpillar lacks direction. Those responsible for the project have not given much information about the characteristics of the engine and batteries, although the maximum speed is 100 km/h and the theoretical autonomy is between 100 and 200 km. The Letona company hopes to start the serial production of the Unitrack Orouga in 2025. What we do not know is whether the Seprona has already been interested in this vehicle. Click
