Honda is going to present this year the brand new Hornet 1000, a naked model that at the time of writing these lines still does not have an official price. Well, before fans can enjoy the future Hornet 1000, the Japanese colleagues at webike.net present some computer-generated sketches of what the faired version would be like, which could well be called the Honda Hornet 1000 S. A sport model. tourism aimed at those who want a sportier motorcycle with greater aerodynamic protection.

The Hornet mil debuted at the EICMA 2023 and uses the four-cylinder engine of the 2017 CBR1000RR. The naked models (without fairing) have certain limitations, so it is not unreasonable to think that the wing brand also wants to offer a version with a fairing that will reach the European market in the second half of 2024.

The Hornet 1000 S would be a model with a philosophy similar to that of the Honda CBF1000F (although in this case the fairing was not integral). Both motorcycles stand out for their versatility. Honda is a specialist in designing models with a wide range of action, capable of meeting the aspirations of different motorists.

The brand, rather than emphasizing sportiness, will focus on offering practical sport-tourism. This does not mean that the Hornet 1000 S will lack power because it will possibly be around 150 HP. Which means that it will have better performance than the Honda NT1100 which, as you know, uses the in-line twin cylinder found in the successful Africa Twin.
