Although we have been talking about it for a few weeks, NVIDIA's next top-of-the-range graphics card, the RTX 5090, is closer than it seems, and rumors about its specifications are becoming clearer.

And although there is nothing confirmed by the brand, it seems that they will be true and we will have one of the best GPUs on the market, although we are missing many details such as its price or final launch date, which is expected for 2024.

RTX 5090 closer?
Among the features that this next RTX 5090 is expected to have are 204 streaming multiprocessors (SM), which would give us a total of 26,112 cores. As well as 32 Gbps GDDR7 memory on a 384-bit bus and 96 MB L2 cache.

All this gives us estimates that the memory bandwidth of the RTX 5090 is 1,536 GB/s, thus doubling the RTX 4080 with 16 GB GDDR6X, which reaches "only" 736 GB/s, which also They would be surpassed by the RTX 5080, which would theoretically reach 768 GB/s.

The data seen, if confirmed, would position it as the best graphics card of the moment, with a power well above previous versions. Of course, to see it we will still have to wait a long time, since the estimate we have is that it would be presented this year, but most likely at the end of it, and can be acquired at the beginning of 2025, that is, in about 365 days. Although we know that all this can end up changing.

The launch price of the RTX 4090 was, at its launch, 1,959 euros, so it is not expected that the 5090 will be less. Most likely, due to its improvements, it could exceed 2,000 euros, something that few would be willing to pay, but that those who did would notice.

And we must keep in mind that, in order to enjoy all its power, we would not only have to take out our wallet to get it, but also with all the other components of the computer, which should be in accordance with the level of the graph, so we would be talking about the same thing.

In summary, 2024 is expected to be interesting, with the release of many new components, including this NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics card, which will give a lot to talk about and about whom we will learn more confirmed details during the course of the year, which we hope will be in the one that is officially presented, to have it with us as soon as possible.
