The impact of GTA VI has been as gigantic as it was little expected and for two days there has been no other topic of conversation within gamer circles. And regardless of the waiting time we have left until it reaches the stores, we must give Rockstar credit for knowing how to create a hype like we have rarely experienced in the last 40 years. At this time the official GTA VI trailer has almost 117 million views, with just 48 hours behind it, so everything related to the sandbox has become a trend. Now, looking a little further than those images, are you aware that for some months now we have known what the first mission that we will be able to enjoy in the game will be?

Rockstar is raining leaks
It is true that on this occasion it seems that Rockstar's security systems are failing. Last Monday the video was leaked hours before the official premiere set for Tuesday, so he had to change his pace and go ahead by counterattacking in a somewhat abrupt manner. Although things were about to get worse, because in September 2022 the mother of all leaks took place, when videos appeared with gameplays of what seemed like a development identical to a GTA.

As the weeks went by, it was confirmed that it was footage taken from an alpha version of GTA VI and that the person responsible had been a young 17-year-old hacker who was unfit to stand trial, so he emerged unscathed from the incident. Of course, that ton of leaked information had references to certain elements that have now been confirmed as potentially true after the publication of the first official video.

Indeed, thanks to the first trailer of GTA VI we have learned that the two protagonists are called Jason and Lucía and that we had already heard about the latter, although when the information was published many did not believe it and thought that it was an invention by someone who wanted have your minute of glory on social networks.

The first GTA VI mission in sight
That GTA VI information leaker told us a few months ago that the first mission would lead us to have to escape from prison driving a certain Lucía, who had been imprisoned after robbing an establishment (a bank?) and which is confirmed by what was seen in this first trailer of the game. What's more, so much so that we also see her wearing the typical orange suit that characterizes prisoners in the United States.

But the details do not stop there: Lucía would have a small son, who will become part of the plot and who, we imagine, will be key when it comes to understanding the motivations of the protagonist in many of the things she will have to do within GTA SAW. Although this is part of what we imagine, and not what is apparently already confirmed, which is that first mission where we will help the main protagonist escape from jail.

We have had it right under our noses and none of us believed it. Now the rumor makes sense...
