It's not been that many hours since the new AMD processors, the Ryzen 8040, were introduced, and we already have a laptop from Acer that comes with one of them built-in. This new model is called Nitro V 16, and would be designed for gamers.

Specifically, its processor would be the Ryzen 7 8845HS, the second most powerful of this new generation, only behind the Ryzen 9 8945HS, so we can expect a high-performance device. Let's see what exactly it consists of and if it will be worth purchasing.

Nitro V 16, the new laptop for gamers
This would be its exact name Nitro V 16 (ANV16-41), and it is presented as a laptop for gamers, manufactured with one of the new AMD processors aimed at both AI and gaming, with powers greater than 80% improvement .

This should offer us a gaming experience never seen before, at least in terms of quality and price, since, as we will see at the end of the news, it is not that expensive.

Apart from its AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS CPU, it has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card as well as 32 GB of DDR5 memory and up to 2 TB of SSD storage. Being able to choose models lower than this one, with less RAM or space. Among other data we see DTS X speakers: Ultra, DLSS 3.5, and WQXGA or WUXGA resolution options.

Its screen would go up to 16 inches, in a 16:10 ratio and with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, as well as a response time of 3 ms. Perfect for any gamer. Of course, for a classic one, since we do not have colors, lights or details that make it very striking. Its design is minimalist, although the power is inside.

Analyzing other data that the company itself highlights, we find a double fan that ensures optimal cooling in any situation, as well as efficient energy management, trying to offer us above-average battery durability. One of the strong points that AMD tries to improve.

Observing these characteristics we can see a good gaming-oriented computer, not being the best on the market, but presenting itself as an updated option and with performance up to the moment, sufficient, or so we hope, to be able to run the future GTA VI without no problem.

Above all, if we talk about price levels, since we have all this for 1,199 euros, which, although it is not cheap, would not be expensive either, analyzing its components and rivals with similar characteristics.

Of course, if you like it, want to try it, or at least see it in operation, you have to wait a little, because it will not be until April 2024 when its official release is expected.
