FNX Magokiler Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Genesis shined in the world final of the Gran Turismo World Series held in Barcelona. He did it with his most recent prototype, one with which you will be able to play in Gran Turismo 7 from January. This is the X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept, a model that we would also love to see in real life, due to its performance and spectacular beauty. The X Gran Berlinetta VGT exhibits the most emotional side of the Korean brand's "Athletic Elegance" philosophy. And although Genesis is a new brand without a long history, when looking at the model, we seem to find elements that make us believe that Genesis will take much longer. It all starts at the front, with the famous "Crest Grille" grille outlined by LED elements that extend along the sides, crossing the front wheels, just like on the brand's models. It has a very wedged hood that reveals some openings in the wheel arches, as if it were a competitive sports car from years ago. The lines of the front wheel arches continue to the rear, outlining the waist of the model and enveloping the cabin, only being interrupted by the rear lines of the doors, in a perfect execution. And not to mention the rear, with an elliptical design that also includes the rear spoiler. And the cabin, set back, achieves an effect of proportions worthy of a classic supercar, with the very long nose and the seats moved towards the rear axle. It is a design that mixes the classic with the modern, something that we have seen in few cars, mainly from Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari or Aston Martin. "Our goal was to create a timeless design based on the essence of motorsport," says John Krsteski, Genesis Chief Designer. “We have a very diverse global design team, where everyone is a car and racing lover. Designers took the opportunity to create a race car with key Genesis elements, but with high-performance attributes. "It has become a source of inspiration for our other programs." And these high-performance elements are visible in the air intakes, the single-bolt wheels, the rear diffuser and the aerodynamic work that allows it to reach a coefficient of 0.34. We go from the exterior, with its bright Magma color and the parabolic lines of the body to the interior, which, as Genesis has been working on for some time, seeks to celebrate the beauty of white spaces, that is, betting on minimalism and purity, with the so that the driver can concentrate on what is essential, paying attention to driving. Everything is integrated into the steering wheel, except for some specific commands. There is a Head Up Display and a panoramic panel that helps in detecting other cars on the track. And although the cabin is carbon fiber, Genesis built it very elegantly. Few elements, but all of high quality, including some soft supports for entry and exit. The virtual Genesis model was conceived with a hybrid front-mid engine, based on the Lambda V6 block, but assisted by E-SC technology, where a Yasa electric motor participates. In total, the car develops 1,071 HP and 1,337 Nm of torque, while the engine revs up to 10 thousand revolutions. Makes you want to drive it, right? https://noticias.autocosmos.cl/2023/12/07/genesis-x-gran-berlinetta-vision-gt-concept-belleza-virtual
