[M]anuel Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 At the time we already told you about this hypercar, which now surprises with its speed going backwards. If you are a faithful follower of Autocosmos, you know that we usually inform you about the records that this or that vehicle achieves, which are generally linked to the final speed reached. This time, the theme is once again speed, but going in reverse. Surely you have ever read something about the Rimac Nevera. It is an electric hypercar, the fastest of its kind, as demonstrated last May when it broke more than 20 records in a single day. It turns out that the Nevera has just added a new record to its record: it became the fastest vehicle to drive in reverse. Its powertrain, which delivers 1,917 HP (1,891 Hp) and 2,960 Nm of torque, allowed it to reach 270 km/h! going backwards, a figure with which he wrote a new page in the Guinness Book of Records. In this way, the hypercar far exceeded the 163 km/h reached by a Caterham 7 Fireblade model 2001, and whose impeller (from a Honda motorcycle) was modified to use the six gears in reverse. Al revés: Rimac Nevera alcanza 270 km/h marcha atrás (autocosmos.com.ve)
