The Škoda Octavia VRS is a difficult car to classify. It is halfway between a sports car and an executive sedan, but it is not exactly a premium or generalist car either. It is a very particular car from a breed that practically has no competitors. At some point we could have pointed to the Opel Insignia OPC, but today it stands alone. However, it remains a fan favorite of the brand and a car with a certain sporting lineage, inherited from the days when the Octavia was a WRC car.

This fourth generation rises above all the technologies that are also typical of the last generation of the Octavia, including the MQB Evo platform, the same as cars like the Cupra Formentor and Volkswagen Golf Mk8.

The design cues follow a lot of what Škoda has done in previous generations with the Octavia, that is, adding sporty details that accompany the line of the car so that it does not look "modified", such as the more aggressive bumper, the black wheels and badges. , the rear diffuser and the discreet lip above the trunk. At most, the VRS badges and the red calipers will tell you that this is a different car and those who like this more "sleeper" look will really like that.
