With over 30 years of career, he has one of the most striking and influential voices in the genre. In a duo with his brother Luciano Camargo, the singer sold more than 30 million records and is considered one of the greatest country icons of all time, being responsible for the great rise of the genre in the 90s and 2000s, with compositions and interpretations of great relevance. He has been played in cinema by Márcio Kieling and in theater by Beto Sargentelli in 2 Filhos de Francisco. Mirosmar José de Camargo was born in the village of Capela do Rio do Peixe, Pirenópolis, on August 17, 1962, the eldest son of Helena Siqueira de Camargo and Francisco José de Camargo. Zezé has had a longer musical career than his brother Welson David de Camargo, born in 1973, who would adopt the stage name Luciano. He started playing the harmonica and, at age 11, he received an accordion from his father. In his childhood, Zezé was a duo with another brother, Emival, called Camargo and Camarguinho. The duo performed at parties in the city of Pirenópolis. In 1975, the brothers were involved in a car accident. Emival was a victim of the disaster, while Zezé Di Camargo only had an injury to the side of his eye. The death of his partner ended up paralyzing Zezé's career for some time.
