FNX Magokiler
"No institution, public or private, is immune from facing these situations, and probity is at stake in the way in which we face them," they affirmed from the national leadership of the Democratic Revolution. Likewise, they ruled out that there is a guideline from the party "that supports the type of practice that we have witnessed." This, in reference to the cases that are being investigated for alleged irregularities in the transfer of resources from the State to foundations. We know that words are not enough. That is why we are working tirelessly, and we will demonstrate with facts our commitment to probity and transparency", they sentenced. The national leadership of the Democratic Revolution party issued a statement in which they refer to the internal actions taken by the store in the framework of the Agreements case. This, since the first transfer investigated for irregularities to come to light was the one carried out between the Antofagasta Housing Seremi to the Fundación Democracia Viva, linked to -now- former DR militants. Due to the above, from the party they indicate that "we categorically deny that there is from this directive, or from any institutional space of the party, a 'political decision' or an 'association' that supports the type of practice that we have witnessed". "Secondly, as soon as we glimpse antecedents that could eventually constitute a crime, we file a complaint, because we are the first interested in clarifying these facts and pursuing responsibilities," they pointed out. In the same way, from the DR they affirmed that “no institution, public or private, is immune from facing these situations, and probity is at stake in the way in which we face them. We know that words are not enough. That is why we are working tirelessly, and we will demonstrate with actions our commitment to probity and transparency." The previous affirmations are part of the questions that the controversy has earned the ruling party, which gave way to both an investigation carried out by the Antofagasta Regional Prosecutor's Office, as well as an audit by the Comptroller's Office at the regional secretariat of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning in the area, with the aim of establishing whether the allocation of resources by the organization -which was carried out through the mechanism of resource transfer agreements- was carried out legally. After this, investigations of a similar nature have emerged in other regions of Chile. https://www.elmostrador.cl/noticias/pais/2023/07/10/rd-y-caso-convenios-bajo-ningun-punto-de-vista-es-una-politica-dirigida-por-el-partido/
