Facebook añade juegos multijugador para entretenerte durante tus videollamadas en Messenger

Facebook Gaming now allows users to play multiplayer games during video calls on Messenger by offering a shared experience to connect with friends and family.

Facebook just announced that it is rolling out multiplayer gaming to the video calling feature within Messenger. This functionality allows you to chat with friends and family while having fun with some of its 14 games.

The company has been experimenting with Messenger-enabled games for the past few years, but nothing has really stuck, so it sounds like this mode might finally stick around.

Facebook Gaming shared that they recognize the importance of gaming as a fun way for people to connect with loved ones and make new friends.

"Facebook Gaming is excited to announce that you can now play your favorite games during video calls on Messenger. This new shared experience in Messenger makes it easy to play games with friends and family during a video call, allowing you to deepen connections with friends and family by engaging in conversations and games at the same time", explains the company.

14 multiplayer games to entertain yourself on video calls
Currently, 14 free games are available on Messenger video calls for iOS, Android and web platforms, with no installation required. These, as reported by Facebook, will gradually increase and confirm more free games on the horizon later this year.
These games include Mini Golf, Exploding Kittens, Words with Friends, Quiz Planet, Card Wars, Basketball FRVR, Spyfall, Go Fish Totally Hooked, Crossword Party, Lab Coats, Acronym FRVR, Werewolves of Silverton, Yatzy FRVR, and Poker Lounge. Each game supports a different number of players, and most games can be played with just two people.

To access them, users simply start a video call on Messenger, tap the group mode button in the center, and then tap the 'Play' icon to browse the game library. Once you've chosen a game, you may need to give permission to access it before you can start playing.

"We know that games are an important and fun way for people to connect with loved ones and make new friends, so we will work to bring more free games to the platform this year. Developers who are interested in integrating this feature in their games should contact their partner manager for more details," adds Facebook.
