[Moto] Dream Bike: Half-Million-Dollar Ducati 1100 Fuse

Starting with a Monster 1100 engine, the craftsmen at Revival Cycles have made this project costing around $500,000.

The project, in a way, is a continuation of the Ducati J63 that Revival Cycles had made in 2015. A tubular steel assembly was chosen for the chassis, to which the V-twin from Ducati and spoked wheels were added. One of the most worked parts of the 1100 Fuse is the mechanized swingarm built with a numerical control machine. We encourage you to take a good look at it because it is, to say the least, different.

 

The bodywork is a single piece, that is, both the tank and the seat are part of the same unit and it is another of the most characteristic features of the 1100 Fuse. Building the bodywork was a technical challenge, as it was handcrafted from a single piece of aluminium. It is painted red on both sides and has a central chrome band. The contrast between the color and the silver tone of the chrome is, we think, spectacular. The creators of the project assured that the most difficult thing to manufacture was the steering stem and the handlebar, because they actually form a unit. Something we can't remember ever seeing before. What would be the pineapples are housed in the leather cuffs.

 

In the Jay Leno's Garage program it was possible to see the Ducati 1100 Fuse that, how could it be otherwise, has conquered the famous American presenter, owner of one of the largest collections of cars (and some motorcycles) in the world.
