Once it is published in the Official Registry (RO), the Law to regulate the interruption of pregnancy in cases of rape will enter into force, as proposed by President Guillermo Lasso in the partial veto that he sent to the National Assembly.

The Legal Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic will ask the Parliament in these days to certify why the veto was not approved or denied, and then send it to the RO.
