How to capture a computer screen?

Capture a photo from the PC screen, and save as a picture - print screen

Click the window you want to capture. Press Ctrl + Alt + Print Screen while holding down the Ctrl + Alt key, and then press the Print Screen key. The Print Screen key is near the upper right corner of the keyboard. (Depending on the type of keyboard you are using, the exact names of the keys on it may differ slightly.

Notes:
- On some keyboards, the PrtScn key may be called PRTSC, PRTSCN, or similar abbreviation.
- On some laptops and other mobile devices without the PrtScn key, other keyboard shortcuts, such as FN + Insert, may be used to capture the screen. See the manual of the laptop or device for specific instructions.

1. Click Start, select Accessories, and then click Paint Start> All Programs> Accessories> Paint.

2. In the Paint window, click Edit, and then choose Paste Edit> Pastte

3. When the image appears in the Paint window, click File, then select Save As, select the desired format (JPEG and PNG are the most common), select where to save, and you're done.

4. In the Save As dialog box, in the File name box, type a name for the screen shot, and then click Save.

You can now print or e-mail the captured screen image in the same way as any other image.
