The Honor 50 series of phones will include two models with Snapdragon 778 mid-range processors, but it seems that there will also be a superior model, Pro +, which will be positioned on a higher level. It appears in new images, and the details about it suggest that it will be comparable in capabilities to other flagships on the market, including an enhanced photo module with more cameras on the back. It will be officially announced on June 16, along with the Honor 50 and 50 Pro models.

Honor 50 Pro + will be a flagship model

The Honor 50 Pro + will offer a slightly different design on the back than the other two Honor 50 variants. It will benefit from a more advanced photo module, with a 108 megapixel main camera framed in a silver ring. In fact, the secondary camera module will use three sensors, compared to two sensors on the lower variants in the series. The new model will be delivered in four color variants: black, green, pink and a "special" color, which changes its shade depending on how the light falls on the case.

Even though Honor previously announced that the Honor 50 models will be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778 chipset, it looks like the top model will use another processor model. This is the Snapdragon 888, the best model of the American manufacturer, the same that is found in other high-end smartphones on the market at the moment.

Last but not least, the phone would offer 100W charging and a screen capable of displaying 10-bit colors. The software will be an Android, which, outside of China will be equipped with Google services, this model, along with 50 and 50 Pro being the first models of this kind since the announcement of the Honor 20 series in 2019. Those models were eventually released and in Europe, but in Romania came a single model, under another name Huawei Nova 5.

It is curious, however, that Honor chooses this high-end processor for Honor 50 Pro +, as it has already confirmed that it will bring back to market the Honor Magic series, considered in the past its "flagship" series.
