Askor lml
As of March 27, Costa Ricans will be able to travel directly to Cartagena and Medellín (Colombia) and Quito (Ecuador). Tickets are already on sale at avianca.com, travel agencies and points of sale. With the launch of 3 new non-stop routes, Avianca continues to expand its network, one of the most robust in the region, and continues to bet on the growth of the aviation industry and the reactivation of tourism and the economy in Costa Rica. The new routes will connect San José with Cartagena, Medellín and Quito, making available to customers around 12,000 monthly seats to fly non-stop. “We are focused on offering our customers more non-stop connectivity to the most attractive destinations in the region so that Costa Ricans travel with Avianca in a simple way and at competitive prices, enjoying one of the largest networks in Latin America. This year we have important plans for Costa Rica and we start it with the announcement of more connectivity with the south of the continent”, commented David Alemán, general director of Avianca for Central and South America. The company announced last August that Costa Rica is within the key points of its growth plan, and only in the last semester of 2021 it inaugurated and reactivated a total of 5 routes that connect the country with destinations in North America. Tickets are already available for sale on the mobile application, the website, physical points of sale or through travel agencies.
