Xiaomi confirms the launch of the Mi Pad 5 tablet, along with the Mi MIX4 smartphone model, for August 10th.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 comes with a top configuration, based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chisel and is included in the Xiaomi Smart Pen accessory in the accessory package. The tablet will have an extremely supple construction, with a polished metal frame on the contour of the case.

Identified by the code name M2107K81PC, the new Smart Pen uses Bluetooth 5.0 LE connection and plays an important role for the productivity side of the tablet.

While for full details we have to wait for the launch event ready for next week, we still know that Xiaomi has prepared the Mi Pad 5 in three versions, the basic model having a 2K LCD screen and 120 Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon chipset 860, 12MP camera and 33W fast charging. The mid-range equipment comes with the same 10.95-inch screen and camera, but also offers a generous 8720 mAh battery and side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Both models will be delivered exclusively in Wi-Fi version.

Equipped with everything, the tablets come with Snapdragon 870 chipset and 5G connectivity, 10.95 inch LCD screen, with 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, respectively a 48MP camera. The battery retains the capacity of 8720 mAh but is accompanied by an AC adapter capable of delivering up to 67W power in fast charging mode.

Xiaomi will launch the Mi Pad 5 tablets initially for the Chinese market, it remains to be seen when and at what price we will find this model and the offers of European stores.
