[M]anuel
The Grasser Racing Team project in the DTM leaves T3 Motorsport without space, at least within Lamborghini's plans. The structure led by Jens Feucht will have to find another manufacturer to compete with if it wants to continue in the DTM in 2022. The arrival of the Grasser Racing Team in the DTM led by Lamborghini was great news for the event. The reference team in the 'racing-client' program of the Sant'Agata Bolognese firm lands in the DTM with four units of the Lamborghini Hucarán GT3 Evo and direct support from the Lamborghini Squadra Corse. A move that, among other things, means that the Italian manufacturer will not give direct support or support to any other structure that wants to compete in the DTM. In other words, T3 Motorsport will not be able to compete with the two Huracán it raced in 2021. Jens Feucht, head of T3 Motorsport, has revealed that the arrival of the Grasser Racing Team to the championship implies that its structure not only ceases to receive direct support from Lamborghini, but will also not have access to spare parts and technical assistance. A heavy blow to the chin of the project, as T3 Motorsport not only represented Lamborghini in the 2021 DTM with some success, but had the foresight to be able to field a third Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo full time in 2022. A move that leaves the driver behind. equipment 'sold' and with little room for maneuver to the formation of German origin.
