[M]anuel
Ferrari has announced its partnership with French coach ORECA as a new technical partner in its GT3 program. Meanwhile, the design phase of the Italian brand's LMH has ended and the assembly of the first chassis will begin shortly. Ferrari has two open fronts in resistance such as its current GT3 project and its future LMH program. However, the Italian firm has taken steps forward to consolidate both efforts in recent days. Without going any further, Ferrari has officially announced that ORECA will be the brand's new technical partner in its GT3 program. With this move, the French preparer replaces the Italian firm Michelotto in the assembly, distribution and after-sales services functions of the GT3 of the 'Prancing Horse' brand, with a work focused on the new GT3 of the brand, a model developed from of the Ferrari 296 GTB and which will debut in 2023, the same year that the manufacturer's hypercar will debut. In this way, the new Ferrari GT3s will be assembled at the ORECA factory, located in Toulon. The French preparer will be in charge of executing the spare parts service, but also the technical assistance service to all Ferrari customers. Of course, ORECA will have nothing to do with Ferrari's hypercar project, a program that is also making steady progress according to the latest news. In fact, in an interview in the Italian magazine 'Quattroroute', Antonello Coletta as director of Ferrari's endurance program has confessed that the design of Ferrari's LMH is almost complete, so the brand plans to assemble the first chassis between January and February 2022.
