AFK is an abbreviation of the anglicized Away From Keyboard, “Far from the keyboard”, and the problem currently resides in users, to avoid having to wait in queues of several hours, they avoid disconnecting from the game under any circumstances. They do this even by skipping the AFK user detection, so that we find many New World users are people who are not near the computer.
