As we can read in PC Gamer, it seems that, although Windows 11 was going to be an operating system designed, in part, for gamers, this does not seem to be the case for users who buy a pre-assembled computer with Windows 11 The culprit of this would be VBS (virtualization-based security), a Windows security feature that would arrive enabled by default on pre-assembled computers.

As we can see in the tests carried out by the publication itself, it seems that this security component of Windows 11 is capable of robbing us of up to 28% of performance in games, something that would be equivalent to having, for example, a graphics card of a range or two lower.

It should be noted that this feature will only be activated, according to Microsoft, in most pre-assembled equipment, so it is possible that, on the one hand, pre-assembled equipment with little power will not have this activated, while on the other, focused equipment Gaming, for example, could be exempted from it.

In addition, users who upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and have this feature disabled, will see how it is disabled without any problem, while in terms of clean installations, there does not seem to be a specific statement.
