Mindsphere. Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 BMW fans are most likely crying out loud. What does the new M3 look like compared to the original model. Major differences are encountered, but not surprisingly, in terms of technical aspects. Presented to the general public about three and a half decades ago, the first M3 in BMW history no longer requires any introduction or presentation. The naturally aspirated engine with only four cylinders in line, 2.3 liters and somewhere around 195 hp in the case of the standard version, the five-speed manual transmission, relatively low weight and the classic design of the body in only two doors are among the main features of the legendary model known as code E30. On the other hand, launched in the fall of 2020, the new BMW M3 G80 arouses multiple controversies, especially because of the appearance, but also the size of the grille found in the front. As for the technical menu, the current model continues the story of the old F80 and beats a twin-turbo engine with six cylinders in line, 3.0 liters. The standard version comes with 480 hp and a six-speed manual transmission, but buyers have various options for a considerable dose of performance, such as an eight-speed automatic transmission, a competition package synonymous with 510 hp under the hood and even a system of all-wheel drive with torque vectoring. 2
