The 5.0-liter block is a real treat.
Presented in 2016, the Lexus LC is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular models not just from Lexus, but from the entire market, at least as far as design is concerned, because although we may have gotten used to its appearance, at launch it looked like a true saloon prototype taken to the road.

Back in the month of September 2020 we were able to test the renewed Lexus LC 500 Cabrio, whose main asset, beyond the design of the model itself, is the great naturally aspirated V8 engine that hides under the hood. A propellant of those that are in clear danger of extinction.

Today we want to show you a video with which to enjoy precisely the sound of the eight-cylinder block, a 5.0-liter that, as you know, offers a power of 477 hp at 7,100 rpm and a maximum torque of 540 Nm at 4,800 revolutions.

The friends of AutoTopNL, who are used to unleashing all kinds of models on Autobahn sections without speed limitation, in Germany, are again responsible for this interesting video.

According to the publication itself, the LC 500 Convertible can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds and from 0 to 200 km / h in 16.4 seconds. In addition, it reaches a marker speed of 281 km / h (269 km / h according to GPS), which is not bad for a convertible.

In this case, however, the acceleration capacity or the top speed of the Japanese model take a back seat, since the true protagonist of this great convertible is precisely the atmospheric V8 block and its suggestive and musical sound.
