During the technical review, the new C 400 X and C 400 GT have also received an optimized Automatic Stability Control (ASC). Instead of the previous manual recalibration (eg when changing tires), the new system now features an automatic radio calibration. In addition, the new ASC is designed for significantly lower friction values than before. When driving, this is noticeable in a more responsive response and a significant increase in control comfort, especially on wet and slippery surfaces. Now it is no longer necessary to disable ASC.
