However, Barron has recovered from the virus now. Barron Trump, the teenage son of US President Donald Trump, had also tested positive for coronavirus after his parents contracted virus, First Lady Melania Trump announced on Thursday. Trump and his wife tested positive for Covid-19 on October 1 but both of them have recovered from the disease now. Melania made the announcement on a blog on the White House website, wherein she said her son Barron, 14, had exhibited no symptoms. "My fear came true when he was tested again and it came up positive. Luckily, he is a strong teenager and exhibited no symptoms. In one way I was glad the three of us went through this at the same time so we could take care of one another and spend time together. He has since tested negative," Melania said on Wednesday, as reported by news agency PTI. Melania and his son stayed at the White House, while Trump had to spend eight days at a military hospital to recover from the novel virus. Trump, who has recovered fully now, is back on his campaign trail for the US presidential elections which are set to take place next month. The First Lady shared her experience, saying she was very fortunate as her diagnosis came with mild symptoms. "I experienced body aches, a cough and headaches, and felt extremely tired most of the time. I chose to go a more natural route in terms of medicine, opting more for vitamins and healthy food. We had wonderful caretakers around us and we will be forever grateful for the medical care and professional discretion we received from Dr. Conley and his team," PTI reported Melania Trump.
