The Mini Convertible special edition labelled Sidewalk Edition features several exterior and interior enhancements that help set it apart from the regular model.

BMW owned Mini has launched a special edition of its convertible luxury hatchback dubbed Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition. Compared to the standard version, the new limited-run edition comes with exterior and interior cosmetic enhancements. The Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition is limited to just 15 units in India.

Exterior highlights of the Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition include the Deep Laguna Metallic exterior colour exclusive to this special edition version, a geometric pattern for the folding soft-top, specially designed 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, "Sidewalk" graphics on the front fender around the indicators and bonnet stripes.

The interiors of the Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition features anthracite leather seats with Dark Petrol piping and yellow accents. Matching highlights can also be found on the dashboard and door trim along with contrast stitching on the steering wheel which also features a "Sidewalk" logo.

Powering the Mini Convertible is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that develops 192bhp of maximum power and 280Nm of peak torque. It pairs with a dual-clutch 7-speed automatic transmission that can be controlled manually with paddle shifters. The convertible luxury hatchback has a top speed of 230kmph and can do the 0 to 100kmph run in 7.1 seconds.

The Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition is priced at Rs 44.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and the company is accepting bookings exclusively through its online portal. Only 15 units of the Sidewalk Edition are available in India. The standard Mini Convertible carries a starting price of Rs 38.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It is the cheapest convertible on sale in India.
