[NEWS] A man in Potes dies in a fight with two young men, 18 and 19 years old

Two young men from the area, aged 18 and 19, have been detained in connection with the events and are arrested in San Vicente de la Barquera.

 

 

A 40-year-old man, born in Villaviciosa (Asturias), died this morning in Potes, as part of a fight in which, at least, two young men from the Liébana region were involved, who were arrested and are under arrest. custody of the Civil Guard and which, presumably, will soon be brought to justice.

Benemérita sources have reported that in the early hours of the morning of this Sunday there was a fight in Potes in which at least three people were involved: the man who was ultimately deceased, born in 1974, and the two 18 and 19 year olds, one from 2001 and the other from 2002 and both from the Liébana region.

In the framework of this fight, the oldest man dies "presumably from the blows produced by the two young men", who were arrested and remain in the custody of the Civil Guard until they are soon brought to justice.

At the moment, the reasons for the fight, the events that are taking place are being investigated, and an autopsy will also be carried out on the body to see the cause of death.
