David Puente recounted in Radio Euskadi's "Boulevard Magazine" his journey by car from New York to Marin County in San Francisco, passing through 13 states. "An incredible journey". One of the sites he mentions is Lake Michigan, "there are sites that look like beaches in the Caribbean Sea." In Aspen he made a rafting descent, a whitewater descent, and comments that he has never seen "both a private plane and the Aspen airport." From there it was to the Arches Park in Utah where there are "almost 2,000 natural stone arches". In a park in Salt Lake City they encountered a herd of buffalo and as they went through Nevada, near Elko, they saw "a giant ikurriña" as I know that the National Basque Festival was going to be held, which has finally been suspended by COVID-19 . David Puente recommends us take a plane in Bilbao to New York and spend a few days there. Then catch another plane to get to Denver, spend a few days, and rent a car to get to Aspen. 1
