Deliveries of the new Volkswagen Golf 8 have resumed after the Wolfsburg manufacturer's engineers solved the software problem announced last month.

After several delays, the new generation Volkswagen Golf was officially launched at the end of last year. Unfortunately, he did not leave the Wolfsburg brand and in mid-May, Volkswagen was forced to stop deliveries of the famous compact model.

Apparently, the engineers discovered, during a routine check, a problem with the software that allows emergency calls and then proposed as a solution a recall for the affected cars.

A spokesman for the German carmaker has now announced that the problems have been remedied and that Golf 8 deliveries have resumed.

The new generation Volkswagen Golf can also be ordered in Romania, and the starting price is 19,235 euros. Customers can choose from diesel, gasoline and even mild-hybrid engines, with automatic or manual transmission and front-wheel drive.
