After several delays, the new generation Volkswagen Golf was officially launched at the end of last year. Unfortunately, he did not leave the Wolfsburg brand and in mid-May, Volkswagen was forced to stop deliveries of the famous compact model. Apparently, the engineers discovered, during a routine check, a problem with the software that allows emergency calls and then proposed as a solution a recall for the affected cars. A spokesman for the German carmaker has now announced that the problems have been remedied and that Golf 8 deliveries have resumed. The new generation Volkswagen Golf can also be ordered in Romania, and the starting price is 19,235 euros. Customers can choose from diesel, gasoline and even mild-hybrid engines, with automatic or manual transmission and front-wheel drive.
