With only three weeks left until the start of the 2020 rally season, all the information and details about the Argeș Catena Rally - Powered by Peugeot are public! Also, registrations are already open, with crews eagerly awaiting the event that marks the start of the rallies in 2020.

Despite the pandemic period, marked by restrictions, the ACS DTO Rally organizer has surprises for the competitors, and the preparations are in full swing, both now and in the weeks remaining until the event. The efforts of the organizing team and the authorities promise a memorable race, the spectacular route being one of the main ingredients.

The Argeș Catena Rally - Powered by Peugeot will take place between June 25-27, on six special stages on Transfăgărășan and in the area of Câmpulung. The most important locality of Argeș County, Pitești, will host the command and the service park, located in the city center. The competition will start with the official tests, while the first competitive section is scheduled for Friday, at 16:30. The next day of the competition will take the competitors on almost 80 kilometers of test on Transfăgărășan, between Vidraru Dam and Capra Chalet.

The organizers also prepared news in 2020, by introducing in the program a new competition route, near Câmpulung Muscel. Over 12 kilometers long, the special test "Godeni" will be a new challenge for crews, while the extension of the specials from Transfăgărășan to Cabana Capra will bring racing cars into the alpine gap. The duels with the seconds will take place on the spectacular turns above the Vidraru Dam throughout Saturday, both uphill and downhill.

 

 

Entries were opened today, and the most important documents are available below or in the "Competitors" section of the website. A novelty for the crews is the administrative checks, which will take place exclusively online, the last day for registration being Friday, June 19, 2020.
