[News] Four employees of the Boca Chica Children's Hospital test positive for COVID-19

Four people who work at the Maternal and Child Hospital of the municipality of Boca Chica, Santo Domingo province, tested positive for the COVID-19, after an operation carried out by doctors from the Dominican Republic Navy and the Ministry of Defense.

 

In the operation, led by Captain Jesús Antonio Avellino Rosario, 66 rapid tests were applied, only 4 being positive, while 62 were negative.

According to a press release, the positive diagnoses were submitted to the corresponding protocol by the epidemiology personnel of said health center.

 

 

These tests are carried out in search of counteracting the expansion of the COVID-19 pandemic, from those who carry out the day-to-day prevention work to the possible people who are at risk of contracting the virus.
