[MC]Ronin[MC] Posted November 30, 2019 Posted November 30, 2019 1150 Octavia daily from the Czech plant Skoda started production of Octavia, with the initial priority set on the station wagon. On November 11, we witnessed the world premiere of the new Skoda Octavia, which took place over 700 guests at the National Gallery in Prague. Today, continuing the success of its predecessors, bringing in a total of over 6.5 million sales (including all models from 1959 to the present), the production of the new model has begun. The Mladi Boleslav plant will make 1150 cars a day. As it is more po[CENSORED]r than the liftback, while being the best-selling station wagon in Europe, the Combi version will be given priority in the beginning and production of the standard version will start a few weeks later. The Mlada Boleslav plant is where the first generation of the modern Octavia began production in 1996. The model is made in several factories around the world, including China, Russia, Algeria, Kazakhstan and India. Since the advent of the model (exactly 60 years ago), up to 6.5 million units have been produced to date, an increase of about 400,000 annually. The new Skoda Octavia can compete with luxury brands Next year, the model family will be complemented by the sporty RS version and the high-profile Scout. For the first time in its history, the Octavia will also be available as a plug-in hybrid. As expected, the length (+19 mm) and width (+15 mm) have increased (with an identical wheelbase of 2866 mm), thus creating additional space in the foot area (+78 mm) for the occupants of the second row of seats. The boot is increased by 10 liters to 600 liters, and the combo is 30 liters larger (640 liters). The real revolution is being discovered in the interior, where the step forward is huge. The enhanced virtual cockpit comes with a 10.25-inch display and four different views. Octavia is the first model of the brand with Head-up display and Trizon climate control. The debut of the model also makes nine new driver assistance systems. The latest generation of infotainment system debuts with a 10-inch display. The materials are very pleasant to touch, and the inner door handles, which extend in metal slats along the door, are a work of art.
