[MC]Ronin[MC] Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 The game is a survival puzzle that follows the story of Cliff Kahlo, who sets sail to document unexplained events, rumors that they happened on Banoi. Arriving on the island of Narapela, part of the Banoi archipelago, he finds that not everything is as it seems. Pursued by deja vu, Cliff will have to figure it out until he starts losing his mind. This adventure-driven story allows players to delve deeper into the Dead Island universe and unravel the origins of zombies. Escape Dead Island is a third-person action-adventure video game focused on stealth and melee combat, with some kind of rifle. Players can sneak in to sneak at enemies and execute them from behind, or drag enemies into a melee by swinging a melee weapon at them. The melee uses light attacks, heavy attacks and evasion. Specific enemies can be locked to focus the camera and the player's attacks on them. A muffled pistol and rifle are available that can be aimed and fired from a third party perspective over the shoulder, but ammunition is limited. The game lacks RPG-like elements of the main Dead Island game; there are no player levels and the selection of weapons is not customized, with the weapons collected at fixed points in the history of the game. As a journalist, the player's character carries a camera that can be used to capture meaningful objects in the game environment, which forces the character to comment on them. The character's deteriorating mental state plays a significant role in the game, with many unreal events happening, such as buildings falling from the sky or the player suddenly transporting from one place to another when trying to cross a room. The game uses graphic style in nuance. The game initially opens 2 days before the Zombie outbreak on Banoi Island, with the player controlling Kilo Two, a covert operative working with Dead Island's main character Sian May (who provides radio support) to break into the Geopharm facility on the island. There was also a mole murder. Although he unexpectedly discovers that the facility has been overrun by zombies, Kilo Two manages to kill the mole and obtain a copy of the Geopharm data the mole is trying to steal. However, he is prevented from leaving due to a zombie epidemic to escape from the facility and spill onto the island, so he instead hides the USB flash drive containing the data before being attacked off-screen by a massive creature. Meanwhile, it is revealed that Geopharm is responsible for creating the zombie virus and is part of a global conspiracy known as the Palm Garden Order. The mole works in conjunction with the terrorist hacker Charon, who also penetrated the Order of the Palm Garden. The mole wanted to release the data to the public and reveal the Order of the Palm Garden, but Charon (who blames PGO for his father's death) instead wanted to destroy PGO with his own zombie virus. The plot is moving forward 6 months, with Banoi Island still cut off from the outside world by world governments that have suppressed news of the zombie epidemic. Atlantic journalist Cliff Kahlo, the son of an influential radio and television executive, and his two friends Linda Waterson and Devan Mavropani arrive in Narapela in hopes of discovering the truth behind the events in Banoi. Cliff is angry that his father sends him for a promotion in favor of his sister and decides to start his own independent journalism center with Devan and Linda. The three find the island apparently deserted and, after some investigation, find a mass grave. Dead bodies suddenly come to life and Linda is attacked and bitten by zombies. Shortly thereafter, the three witness a small single-engine plane crash on the island. Devan transports the injured Linda to a mobile camp on the top of the island's central mountain, hoping to find safety while Cliff sets out to investigate the plane crash. Cliff soon receives radio messages from Linda, assuring him that everything is in order and encouraging him for his progress. Cliff reaches the airport where the plane crashed and met with its pilot Sian May, who appears to have survived the rocky end of Dead Island: Riptide and reached the island in search of Kilo Two and Geopharm data. She informs Cliff that there is a secret lab on the island that may have a cure for the zombie epidemic. Speaking to Cliff on the radio, Sian May instructed him to collect the 3 keyboards needed to access the lab. As he explores the island, Cliff begins to experience hallucinations that increase in frequency and intensity as the game progresses. After giving up such a hallucination, Cliff wakes up at the mobile camp just in time to witness Linda being abducted by the same massive mutant that attacked Kilo Two in the prologue. Devan shows up and urges the two to try to escape, stating that Linda is barely alive and will not survive, and criticizes Cliff for abandoning her while she is injured. When Cliff insists on communicating with her on the radio, Devan reveals that he and Linda have never had a radio. After a heated argument, Devan sets out to find a boat to escape from the island as Cliff tries to chase Linda and find a cure. After the giant mutant, Cliff is taken to a secret lab where he finds the data device hidden there by Kilo Two. He discovers that the mutant is Dr Aaron Wells, a Geopharm scientist who was infected by the virus but suffered a unique mutation and retained his intelligence, albeit at some cost to his common sense (a concept explored in multiplayer play Dead Island: Epidemic), Aaron and another Geopharm scientist, Vera Kimball, try to try Linda's cure, but treatment fails, suggesting Linda has died. Enraged, Cliff attacks Aaron madly and is forced to flee the huge mutant. Cliff's hallucinations are increasing and it is clear that Linda's voice heard on the radio is another hallucination. This voice starts to make fun of him and makes fun of his mistakes and failures. Sian May contacts Cliff and warns her that she has put explosives all over the island and will soon detonate them to stop the outbreak. She tells him to leave the island, but Cliff insists that he stay and find Devan. Cliff fails to find Devan, but is radioed by his father, who arrives with a helicopter looking for him. Cliff refuses to leave the island with his father, still hoping to find and rescue Devan, so Cliff's father instead asks him to give him a data drive so he can convey the truth to the world. Cliff, however, resents his father, Cliff contacts Dr. Kimball, who tells him Minimum system requirements: Operating System: Windows Vista x86 SP2 with DirectX 11 Update Installed, Windows 7 or Windows 8 Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Memory: 2 GB RAM Video Card: Radeon HD 5450 (1 GB) or GeForce GT 430 (1 GB) DirectX: Version 11 Free space: 10 GB available space Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card Additional Info: No support for Windows XP and DirectX 9.
