The all-new sixth-generation Opel Corsa debuts a battery-powered electric version with a stand-alone 330 km. Opel engineers have chosen the most po[CENSORED]r model of the brand to bring electric mobility out of its negligible niche. Sales of the sixth-generation Opel Corsa will start in a few weeks, with the first being the Corsa's electricity, followed by the diesel and gasoline versions of the new model.

The Corsa is an absolute bestseller, with over 13.6 million units produced since its launch in 1982. With the Corsa model, Opel has provided a means of transportation and mobility to millions of people around the world and now offers widespread access and the ability to travel without harmful local emissions.

The new Opel Corsa-e looks very dynamic thanks to its sporty design while retaining the compact exterior dimensions of previous generations. With a length of 4.06 meters, the Corsa-e remains a nimble and practical 5-seater with excellent interior space. The roofline resembles that of a sports coupe and is 48 mm lower than that of the previous model, but does not take up space for the passenger heads. The driver's position is 28 mm lower than before, and the steering and road dynamics have gained much from the lower center of gravity. Driving behavior is responsive and dynamic, providing much greater driving pleasure. The modern interior with fully digital dashboard can be complemented by leather seat upholstery.

The new electric Opel Corsa-e offers the latest technologies in the field of electric mobility. With its 330 km autonomous mileage according to the WLTP standard, the 5-seater Corsa is perfectly suited for daily use without any functional or other restrictions. A 50 kWh battery can be charged up to 80% in just 30 minutes. In addition, the Corsa-e can be charged via a simple home electrical cable, a Wallbox wall module in the home, or a high-speed charging station. The battery, in turn, has an 8-year warranty. The battery level can be checked at any time using the myOpel application, enabling continuous and convenient optimization of time and cost.

New infotainment systems provide ongoing and complete connectivity for the driver and passengers of the new generation of Corsa. The multimedia navigation system with its 7.0-inch color touch screen and the top of the range 10.0-inch color touch screen system also offer the new Opel Connect telematics service. Useful features such as real-time navigation with direct traffic information, direct contact with the roadside assistance and emergency call function provide additional peace of mind for drivers and passengers in the new model.
