A Moldovan tanker turned in the waters of the Black Sea near Odessa.

The Delphi tanker was anchored in the port of Odessa when a severe storm broke the chains of anchors and carried it to sea. The waves later turned the ship to the beach.

Three crew members were on board during the incident. They were evacuated by Ukrainian rescuers and taken to hospital.

Authorities in Ukraine say there is no danger of a major oil spill as there was only ballast in the holds of the inverted tanker.
