The Duchess of Franco has opted this summer for discretion. Instead of being seen by the parties of Ibiza and Marbella, he has preferred to travel to countries such as Portugal and Morocco

Carmen Martínez-Bordiú already warned that this summer she wanted tranquility. He has thus moved away from all the controversies surrounding his family: from the exhumation of the remains of his grandfather to the sale of Pazo de Meirás or the problems of his brother Francis with justice. She was invited to the many parties and galas that are organized, both in Ibiza and in Marbella, and has not attended any of them. Nor has he sailed along the Côte d'Azur, where he could have coincided with Mar Flores who has made the usual journey that marks his friend Elías Sacal.

The Duchess of Franco, whose concession of the title was already published by the BOE, has preferred discretion. His first stop was Portugal. And Carmen Martínez-Bordiú intends to leave Madrid and live in Cascais, in a privileged area on the outskirts of the city, where Sonsoles Suárez and her husband Paulo Wilson also lived for years.

Carmen is very friendly with Tita Torrabadella, married to Joao Flores, one of the most important businessmen in Portugal. It will, therefore, be very clothed if the duchess wants social activity. It seems that it was Tita who advised her when looking for a location for her new life. If there are no affective changes, she will be accompanied by her partner, Timothy McKeague.

Your vacation trip

Her vacations have taken her to Portugal, Morocco and back to Spain, with a stop and inn in Sotogrande (Cádiz), where her son Luis Alfonso, Margarita and her three children spend the summer. Carmen has a very special relationship with her 11-year-old granddaughter Eugenia, with whom she already shares "girl plans". On the other hand, "Luis and Alfonso are very chic and prefer to play football and play sports, rather than sign up for our outings," he pointed out to 'Vanitatis'.

This will also be for everyone the first summer without Carmen Franco, who worked as a mother with Luis Alfonso when the teenager wanted to stay in Madrid, after the Duke of Cádiz died.

If there are no changes, this will be the agenda of Carmen Martínez-Bordiú before the end of August. Then, who knows if he will travel on any of the exotic routes he likes so much. Sometimes his best companion was precisely his mother. China and Cuba, for example, were among the destinations they both shared in recent years.
