DACIA CAN LAUNCH A HYBRID SUV TO COMPLY WITH EU POLLUTION REGULATIONS

Dacia is forced to rethink its strategy, in order to align with the drastic EU standards imposed on CO2 emissions. The new limits come into effect in 2020, and Dacia could launch a hybrid SUV to meet them.

Although Dacia can boast two of the most frequently registered models in Europe (Sandero and Duster), but also with the largest increase in market share at European level, the future does not seem so rosy for the Mioveni builder. Bloomberg analysts warn that Dacia may become "a brake" for Renault, in the context of new EU pollution regulations.
