2019 has been a season in which Venezuelans have stood out greatly with the tree, especially Eugenio Suárez, Ronald Acuña Jr. and Gleyber Torres, who make up the first trio of native batters in the history of the majors to sound at least 35 home runs

Torres, infielder of the New York Yankees, is the most recent to join the select group of Creoles, after dispatching his 35th home run of 2019 against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, joining his countrymen as the only ones to complete such feat, still remaining three weeks to the conclusion of the regular round.
