Director of Pokemon Games Saying 'Not All Pokemon Can Be Imported into Pokemon Sword and Shield'

It seems that Pokemon fans should be disappointed with this news, because in the latest news, producer Junichi Masuda announced that only Pokemon is present in the Galedex region that can be imported into the upcoming Switch game.

Pokemon Sword and Shield started the Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation at E3, with producer Junichi Masuda and Director of Games Shigeru Ohmori in exploring the vast game land with a range of short-range Pokemon battles.

After completion, Masuda said there was no Pokemon Bank, but it would be replaced with Pokemon Home, which would be a service to collect all Pokemon players in one place, but unfortunately not everything in Pokemon Home will be transferred into the Pokemon Sword and Shield.

The reason is fairly simple, Gamefreak developers spend quite a lot of time thinking about the best way to move forward, taking into account the battle's battles and development time, therefore importing Pokemon will be limited.

But at least, developers have chosen a number of favorite Pokemon that can later be imported into the Pokemon Sword and Shield.
