You just have to type in the console (~ button of your keyboard) :

bind "key name" "usage"

Examples:

bind "F1" "say /lm"

bind "p" "createlaser"

bind "alt" "attack2" 

Afterwards,during the gameplay,you just have to press the button to see if it works.

If these don't work,show us the console's output.

Otherwise,clean up your config.cfg file in your cs or reinstall you cs 1.6

Heloo, Follow these steps, will solve your problems.

Bind "KEY" "say //  In place KEY Add bind that you will use to take commandes // Write it in the console of game !

Example:

Bind "KEY" "say @ Don't Shoot [LM] ====> Slay!!!"
Bind "KEY" "say @ [ZM] Attack ====> [3] Slap = Slay!!!"
Bind "KEY" "say @ [Stop] Block ====> Slay!!!"
Bind "KEY" "say @ Down of [Map] Or [ SLAY]"

Bind "KEY" "say /lm"
Bind "p" "plant_mine" [You can't change this binds]
Bind "v" "take_mine" [You can't change this binds]

First To get the most help we can provide at least  Attach an image "picture" !!. how we can understand your problem if you didnt show us any Picture about your Cs 1.6 ha??? . maybe you typed binds wrong . anyway this last time you doing suck things like this ! be careful

this is correct bind thats works for everybody here : 

 

First open your Console . then copy bind from topic ? 

like this : 

Bind "F1" "say @@ Don't Shoot [LM] ====> Slay!!!"

then press Submite . after you do this exactly . go join any server ZP 6.2 and click F1 and you will see your Message.
