Angrry.exe™
Ford will launch a new SUV in 2020: the new model could replace Ecosport Ord commenced testing with a mysterious SUV of the size of a Focus that will be launched on the market in 2020. The new model could become the replacement of Ecosport, the SUV produced exclusively at the Craiova plant. Ford is preparing a strong offensive in the SUV segment over the next few years due to the po[CENSORED]rity of these models. One of the new SUVs has already been seen in a camouflage test session in Germany. The model has dimensions and design very close to those of a Focus, but it has a significantly higher ground clearance. The views on the new model are shared among the international media. While Auto announces that the model will be a brand new one and will replace the Ecosport in the range, Motor 1 does not exclude the option for the new SUV to be positioned in the range between Ecosport and Kuga. It is certain that the introduction of the new SUV will also have a major influence on the Ford plant in Craiova, the only one to produce Ecosport for the European market. The American builder has previously announced that it will produce a new model in Craiova, so it is not excluded that it is even the model that is now surprisingly tested. On the other hand, Ford needs another 1,700 employees to start production, a sign that it does not intend to give up Ecosport's production or that it expects higher sales of the new model. Ford produced 119,000 units at the Craiova plant in the first 10 months of last year, almost three times more than in the same period last year, following the success of Ecosport in Europe.
