KEPY™
Artificial intelligence, and the '' intelligence '' of virtual assistants, seems to have come to stay. Different companies are betting heavily on this kind of assistants, and the main ones of the sector (Amazon, Google and Apple) already have their smart speakers on the street. However, there are others who also have virtual assistants, such as Huawei and Samsung, and the latter seem to seek to enhance the technology in their television sets in 2019. With the arrival in recent months of devices such as Amazon Echo (which we have already analyzed), HomePod (which we also have analysis) or Google Home, many users have experienced a different way of interacting with both the speakers and other objects everyday, but smart. The same thing happens in mobiles thanks to Siri or Google Assistant, and Bixby in Samsung. Now, South Koreans want to join LG and their ThinQ to bring artificial intelligence and virtual assistants to televisions, and as Variety has picked up, it looks like Samsung's 2019 smart TV will have a virtual assistant. And, it seems, Samsung TVs will bet on Google Assistant. The assistant of Google is, along with Siri, the most used assistant to be integrated into mobile phones, and Samsung would like to bet on this assistant for their TVs. Now, why Google Assistant for Samsung TVs and not your own assistant, Bixby? At the developer conference in San Francisco a few months ago, Samsung confirmed that Bixby for televisions was not ready yet. In addition, the own Bixby in mobiles is not as useful as Google Assistant, for that reason Samsung looks for to bet by the assistant of Google for its televisions. It seems that it will be at CES in Las Vegas, where LG will also present its artillery, the place where Samsung shows its TVs with Google Assistant. In addition, it seems that these TVs would also drink from HomePod to get a speaker technology that can analyze the stay and, thus, focus the sound more effectively.
