Angrry.exe™
Acer Predator with i7 8750HQ and GTX 1060 Recently I was able to play on an Acer Predator series gaming laptop, a very successful series that rivals directly with the ASUS ROG. Predator has the lower price on his side, because in reality the performance is similar. I tested a few games to see how this laptop behaves in the most po[CENSORED]r titles. Predator Laptops I've still tested and you probably know, but I'll just recapitulate their design and the key elements of the series. The front model is entirely made of plastic, but in some areas it is so well finished that it gives you the impression of metal. The cover has a very large logo and two red lines that I thought in the first phase that they will light up with the laptop. The area around the keyboard is finished to look like aluminum. The trackpad is integrated into the casing and has no dedicated buttons. The keyboard is illuminated in red, and gamer-specific keys are taller and have a longer race. I feel more enjoyable, but I would have liked to see other keys not just WASD. The connectivity is as follows: LAN port, USB Type C, HDMI, USB 3.0 and a left-hand card reader, and on the right side 2x USB 2.0 and 2.1 audio jack Being a gaming laptop does not have very small size and no small weight. The edges of the screen are large, the whole body is massive and difficult to carry. It's not a laptop that you can carry day by day in the office if you want that you have the Swift series. This laptop is designed for first-person gamers and second-hand portability. Even the loader is quite massive and occupies a lot of space in the backpack. But I repeat, portability is not the first. The laptop is durable even if it is plastic. There has been no saving in his construction and this is seen and feels. On the back, it gives you quick access to RAM and HDD. You can always upgrade. The model I had had 2 RAM slots, both of which are busy. The specifications are as follows: Processor i7 8750HQ 2.21 GHz Video card: GTX 1060 6GB RAM: 32GB Storage: 2TB HDD + 480GB SSD Screen: 15.6 inch Full HD Dolby sound Weight: 2.7Kg Battery: 4 cells I tested the following games: GTA V - 60FPS with Very High settings LoL - 100FPS with Very High settings PUBG - 70FPS with High settings Far Cry 5 - 70 FPS with Custom Settings - High-Very High BF1 - 78FPS with High Settings HITMAN - 55 FPS with High settings The obtained temperatures were normal at both the CPU and the GPU: 39 degrees in processor idle and 88 degrees in full load. The video card had identical temperatures. Unfortunately, we do not know the price yet, but I estimate a cost of 5500-6000 lei.
