Angrry.exe™
SAP and Deutsche Telekom are expanding their partnership to include Internet of Things (IoT) solutions in logistics. The two companies will provide a complete and cost-effective solution that offers connectivity, business software applications, device tracking and monitoring, and support services. The announcement was made at the Mobile World Congress 2018 which took place in late February in Barcelona. As part of this agreement, Deutsche Telekom will provide hardware, connectivity, security, monitoring and service at a transparent price. Data collected and managed by Deutsche Telekom will be integrated into the customer's digital core with SAP S / 4 HANA. Both companies intend to create and certify the interfaces between Deutsche Telekom IoT Platform and SAP Cloud Platform platforms. The first product launched by this partnership, conceived together with Deutsche Telekom's Roambee Corp., is designed to help customers track and monitor in real-time the status of moving objects. Based on Roambee's hardware, monitoring and support services, Deutsche Telekom and Roambee have jointly developed an end-to-end solution that addresses vehicle tracking, tracking and tracking and intralogistic scenarios. Data is collected securely in real time through Deutsche Telekom's mobile networks and its network partners and is passed on to customers through the SAP Leonardo IoT solution running on the SAP Cloud Platform to interpret the data in real time, an understanding and a more efficient management of business processes. SAP continues to invest in IoT Amid the exponential growth of connectivity between people, devices and objects, SAP has announced it will expand its mobile service, SAP IoT Connect 365, adding connectivity for its narrow band Internet of Things (NB-IoT) to its managed service cloud for companies and telecom operators. With a single contract, they can simplify the connectivity of IoT quickly and easily, managing to respond safely and reliably to the challenges of the digital economy. Unlike on-premise implementations that require major initial investments, new services can connect seamlessly to existing network infrastructure and help minimize costs and time to market. With a unique connection and a single SAP contract, operators and companies can get competitive advantages, improve their brand position on the market, and use global connectivity and management connectivity solutions to differentiate themselves.
