Angrry.exe™
A list of definitive and irrevocable dangerous viruses can not be made. It is a field in which things are changing very quickly and hackers are adapting very well. We review the threats to pay attention to. The list of dangerous viruses is useful when you are not using antivirus and want to know what to be careful about. Or to know what can steal your data online and affect your equipment. Computer viruses are probably the most effective way to destroy the work of some companies or people right now. I'm talking here from the point of view of a user who realizes that a virus can lead to loss of personal data and from the point of view of a company that can go bankrupt because of a malicious program written by someone with bad intent. Viruses can be classified in many ways, how they infect a computer, the number of computers or infected devices, how hard it is to clean it, or how quickly it spreads. Leaving aside these classifications, it's important to know what we should take first of all to prevent the virus infection, and then if we had the bad luck to contract a malware to know how to get rid of it. It is important to know the types of viruses so that when we hit a problem know how to react. All of these things can be the subject of several articles in the future, but we will now try to treat this topic more easily, so from the beginning. Types of attacks The most dangerous viruses are those that are resident in the computer's memory and do not infect files properly. They run actions, often collect data based on certain search terms. Collected data, passwords, PINs, and card numbers are sent to another computer that collects this information and then sold on the black market. So you can wake up at some point that you no longer have access to your email or social media account, or bank accounts are empty. The solution for this type of infection is prevention. A pre-installed antivirus can efficiently monitor the communication of these data and can prevent these losses in time. A second type of attack, not virus, is phishing. This type of attack typically involves a person's action that when receiving a mail or link on a conversation medium, downloads a small program and then opens it. You practically infect yourself because you have fallen into the net of a message from a known, infected person who asks you to open a document or access a link. From that moment on, you can wake up with a series of false antivirus programs that scan your PC telling you they found some infections and ask for money to get rid of them. These attacks can be prevented if you are careful and check the link you received with the real one if it's a facebook profile or a bank page. In the second case, if you enter your card data to make a payment, you may be stuck with money in your account. Rewarding viruses are also dangerous in many ways. They will infect a PC and will either turn on themselves or when they receive an order, blocking access to that PC and asking for a reward. Since many of us have data we keep on the computer, mainly pictures with friends and family, this type of virus often reaches its goal. For fear of losing this data, we will be tempted to pay the 50-100 euros that the virus requires and hope to unlock your PC. On the other hand, would you trust someone in the coming street and take your bag off your shoulder and then tell you to send some money and return it? A very clear example is the Romanian Police virus. Solution: You pay nothing. There is the possibility to deviruire the PC or data recovery to a specialist. Viruses that infect files are another real problem. Many of these malicious programs attack a multitude of files and rename or modify their properties so they can no longer be accessed. It spreads through storage devices and can even cling to attachments in email messages. Solution: Again prevention and if it was not effective then a paid antivirus will do its job very well in most situations. WEB-like viruses are the ones that infect the PC when you visit a web page.More precisely when you click on a link or an advertisement on that page. There are situations where your computer can only be infected by accessing that page and all possible types of viruses can be included here. At the speed we are accessing the internet now it's quite simple for a virus even with large size to be downloaded to the computer. Solution: Install an antivirus with a powerful firewall. This will automatically prevent the infection. tips First, you need an antivirus. You need an antivirus no matter what type of activity you run online. It is very important that the antivirus update its database periodically. To better understand the antivirus is as good as it is to be updated. That online database that is checked daily tells the program how to behave when you get hit by such a problem. Also, a new virus, if it accesses several computers with an antivirus, even if it is unknown, sends reports to the company that created the program and finds a faster fix. Take great care of dubious links. These can be detected easily if you carefully look at the email address from which the message was sent. If the message comes from PayPal and the mailing address is paypasolutions@yahoo.gr it is certainly a malicious program or malware. If the link comes from a friend on a chat solution, you'd better ask him if he sent you the intended link, he might not even know of his existence.
